In less than a month, I am going to have another semester of university under my belt. Even though this will just be my second completed semester at university, I am looking forward to a break after my first year of handling the amount of work that is required to do well in university. Because it is difficult to find short term housing during the summer, I will be spending mine with my parents back at home. Even though you may think that living with your parents again after having so much freedom sounds terrible, it’s not bad at all when you know it’s only temporary. The only thing standing in between me and my time back home is the final examinations that so many people dread.

In spite of the fact that I have several buddies who are absolutely dreading the prospect of taking their final examinations, I have already put in a lot of time studying, so I couldn’t feel any better about my own. Since I am so confident, I have already set up a summer reward for myself to celebrate my success this semester. In conjunction with my buddy, after moving back to Edinburgh, the two of us will be picking up a Edinburgh car rental that is reserved in my name. The reason we are getting a Edinburgh car rental is so we can enjoy taking a road trip for a full week. Since the two of us have both been working hard at university, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate starting the summer than to enjoy the freedom of being on the road for a full week.
